Ponguleti launches Bhu Bharati pilot today

Hyderabad: Tax Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy will launch a pilot project of the Bhu Bharati Act in Kajipuram village in Maddur Mandal in Narayanpet district on Thursday, aiming to educate the new laws.

Addressing media sources on Wednesday, the minister said the newly introduced Bhu Bharati Act and its accompanying digital portal were developed to simplify land records and effectively resolve disputes.

“The real success of the prestigious bhu bharati bill is that its interests reach the ordinary people,” he said.

The publicity plan will begin Thursday as part of the pilot project. These meetings aimed at educating the public about the characteristics and interests of the bill will be conducted under the supervision of regional collectors in Telangana.

Srinivas Reddy will open a pilot project in Kajipuram and later participated in an advocacy conference in Pudur Village, Vikarabad area. His itinerary on April 18 included an income meeting in the village of Venkatapur, Mulugu district in the morning, followed by a meeting in the Adilabad district.

The Bhu Bharati pilot project will be carried out under four rulers, including Maddur (Narayanpet District), Nelakondapalli (Khammam District), Lingampet (Kamaddy District) and Venkatapur (Mulugu District). During these dominations, public applications related to land issues will be accepted and receipts will be issued in the newly developed standard format that will be distributed the day before the revenue meeting.

Authorities will collect data on the type of land issues, the number of complaints and possible solutions. Feedback on the Bhu Bharati portal will also be collected to fine-tune its features. Starting from May 1, all applications received will be resolved, digitally recorded and forwarded to relevant officials every day, except for disputes considered by the court.

At the same time, the awareness meeting on the BHU BHARATI Act will be held at all Mandal headquarters in the state, excluding Hyderabad. Collectors participate in at least two of these programs in their respective jurisdictions every day. A special team of Tahsildars, Tahsildars Vice Chairman, Income Inspectors and Surveyors has been formed to carry out these initiatives.

Once the consciousness phase comes to conclusions, similar income sessions will be extended to all mandalas throughout the state.
