Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s daughter Sumeyye Bayraktar is one of the owners of Celebi Aviation. The company handles safety-sensitive ground handling operations at nine airports in India.

Sumeyye Bayraktar, daughter of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, will have to pay the price for Ankara’s open support to Pakistan during Operation Sindoor. The 39-year-old Turkish woman is an entrepreneur and is one of the owners of Celebi Aviation. The company is responsible for handling safety-sensitive ground handling operations at nine airports in India, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Goa, Kochi and Kanpur. The Civil Aviation Administration’s Safety Administration has cancelled the services of Celebi Airport Services Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Celebi Aviation.
Government cancels security permit
If media reports are believed, Sunil Yadav, the Joint Office of Civil Aviation Safety (operation) on Wednesday revoked the company’s security permit and will take effect immediately. Celebi handles passenger services, load control and flight operations, ramp services and general aviation services.
In its officials websiteCelebi has said, “celebi’s presence in India grew exponentially with three different entities. Çelebi’s first step into India started off with a joint venture with a mandate to provide comprehensive and world-class services at Mumbai International Airport. Within a year, Çelebi was registered in India to provide ground handling as Çelebi Airport Services India and cargo services as Çelebi Delhi Cargo Terminal Management India at Delhi International Airport.”
It further stated: “In the past decade, the two stations have developed into nine radio stations in India, including Mumbai, Delhi, Kochi, Kano, Kannar, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Goa (Gox) and Ahmedabad and Chennai.”

Bayraktar Drone
Erdogan’s daughter married Selcuk Bayraktar, son of Turkish businessman Ozdemir Bayraktar. He is the owner of Bayraktar Defendual, the company that manufactures drones Bayraktar Akinci. The drone was supplied to Pakistan. The Pakistan Air Force fired more than 500 Byraktar drones to India in two days to attack its important air base. Although all of these drones were shot down, it exposed Türkiye-Pakistan connections. It also reveals how Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his family benefited from the defense deal.
