Rachin Ravindra, Ruturaj Gaikwad 50s Guide Chennai Super Kings 4-door victory with Mumbai Indians
Mumbai Indians’ Vignesh Puthur took three wickets in his first game against Chennai Super Kings. Despite his outstanding performance, the Mumbai Indian lost to the Chennai Super Kings at the Machibaram Stadium on Sunday.
Chennai captains Ruturaj Gaikwad and Rachin Ravindra both shone brilliantly with an impressive fifties, leading their team to beat the Mumbai Indians’ 4-goal victory. Vignesh Puthur made a sensation in Mumbai’s debut, which included three key wickets, including the scalp of the precious Gaikwad, who just smashed the fastest 50 in IPL history in just 22 balls. Puthur keeps the momentum by quickly firing Shivam Dube and Deepak Hooda.
Noor Ahmed is a star of the Chennai show, passing through the middle order of Mumbai by taking out Tilak Verma, Suryakumar Yadav, Namn Dhir and Robin Minz. Gaikwad and Ravindra set a solid foundation for Chennai as they chased 156 goals in the season opener against Arch-Rivals Mi in the season. Noor Ahmed’s impressive four-door trailer at CSK’s debut made the MI scoreless, and the late surge of Deepak Chahar’s bats ensured they crossed the 150-stop threshold.
Noor’s outstanding performance when he made his debut at Chennai Super Kings left the Mumbai Indians in the middle. One of the highlights of this game was his sacking of MI Captain Suryakumar Yadav, thanks to the lightning disaster of MS Dhoni. Noor also knocked down Tilak Varma, who looked comfortable before falling into his talented bowler. Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma tried to stabilize the MI inning after a tough start in the power game.
