Rain alert for 5 days in Karnataka Kerala Tamil Nadu; North India may see heat wave relief: full weather report here

Southern states such as Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka will regularly rain, thunder and strong winds during this period, IMD scientist Akhil Srivastava said on Friday. He also said that there will be similar weather conditions in central India.
“It will continue to rain in the northeast for the next five days,” he added. As for northwestern India, thunderstorms are expected, but heat wave conditions will also remain in certain areas.
In eastern India, especially Assam, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh, the weather will remain hot and humid.
Delhi sees rain and temperature drops
People in Delhi may be relieved by the heat.
“We expect thunderstorms to be active today and tomorrow night,” Srivastava said on Friday. “There may be some rainfall, so the temperature may drop to around 37-39°C.” This is because parts of North India continue to face strong heat waves.
Causing brings more patients to hospitals in Uttar Pradesh
In Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, the rise in temperatures has caused more people, especially children, to be taken to hospitals.
Senior medical consultant Dr V Singh said many children show signs of typhoid fever, fever, exercise, cold and cough.
He advises people to avoid eating food from outside. “Street food is often mixed with unsafe ingredients. It’s best to stay away from it,” he said. “There are about 200 patients a day and 25-30 patients are being admitted.”
Dr. Rajendra of the ACMS Regional Hospital added that cases of vomiting and diarrhea are also increasing. “Every day, about 2,200-2,500 people visit OPD and 90-100 patients are admitted,” he shared. “It’s hot, but so far things are under control.”
