Hyderabad, April 6: Ram Navami celebrated Sunday with dedication and enthusiasm. Devotees visited the temple and offered special prayers on this occasion. Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy traditionally offers silk clothes and “Mutyala Talambralu” (a mixture of pearls and other items), at the celestial wedding held by the famous Sri Sri Sita Sita Ramachandraswamy Temple in Bhadrachalam.

Deputy Chief Minister Malu Bhatti Vikramarka, State Donation Minister Konda Surekha and other leaders also participated in the worship of Bhadrachalam, commonly known as “Ayodya of the South”.

Union Minister of Coal and Mining and State BJP President G Kishan Reddy attended Ram Navami’s celebration near Hyderabad in his native Timmapur. At that time, the “Shobha Yatras” (parking) were taken away in Hyderabad and other towns. The police have made careful safety arrangements, including traffic management, to ensure peaceful possession of the “Shobha Yatras”. Governor Jishu Dev Varma participated in the “Shobha Yatra” in Sitarambagh, Hyderabad, and it started here.

BJP MLA Raja Singh, known for his strong Hindutva perspective, also led a parade through Dhoolpet, Puranapul, Begum Bazaar Chatri, Siddiamber Bazar, Gowliguda Gurdwara and Hanuman Vyayamshala.
