“Perseal for Autism Walkathon” in Thrissur

To show solidarity and awareness, Minister of Social Justice R. Bindu was announced on Tuesday by “Autism Campaign,” marking the state-level inauguration for National Autism Day observations.

Walkathon from Irinjalakuda Town Hall achieved the finale on the ground of Ayyanankavu, with participants emitting energy and purpose.

Panchayat Regional President vs Prince is the chief guest. Students from institutions from Irinjalakuda BRC (Block Resource Center), Pratheeksha Bhavan and NIPMR (National Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation) attended the special school to demonstrate a spirit of inclusion and support.

Dr. Bindu stressed the urgent need to integrate individuals with neurological diseases, including autism, into mainstream society. She highlighted the key role of the regional early intervention center under the Ministry of Social Justice in Medical College and Regional Center. These centers play a crucial role in early discovery and provide professional training for the earliest stages of challenges.

Irinjalakuda Municipal Government Chairman Marykutty Joy, former Regional Panchayat President PK Davis, NIPMR Executive Director C. Chandrababu, Irinjalakuda General Hospital Director Shivadasan and St. Joseph’s College’s College’s College participated in the competition.

Support from local autonomous institutions, Christian Academy, St. Joseph’s College and Pratheeksha Bhavan joined the grandeur of the event, making it a powerful statement of community spirit and awareness.

A walking marathon is more than just an activity. It is a movement – a vibrant step towards building a more inclusive and understanding society for people with autism.
