Born in Madhya Pradesh on May 22, 1973, he went to BD Tiwari, Nitesh, and was inclined to study since he was a child. Nitesh completed his studies in IIT Mumbai in 1996 and received his bachelor’s degree in metallurgy and materials science engineering. During his studies, Nitesh once wrote stories, and since then he dreamed of becoming a writer. During his IIT era, Nitesh once wrote dramas or single-acts or single works. He always desires to do some original work that should be “stayed” with him.

Nitesh serves as software developer

Recently, Nitesh interacted with Komal Nahta in his podcast Changeers. He revealed there that he worked as a software developer for four months. “In the 90s, if you were good at studying, you either became a doctor or an engineer. It’s not that I didn’t have any interest. I even worked for a software company for 4 months, but somewhere I didn’t find that piece. I wanted to do what I like, you know, not what I want to do.”

Nitesh entered Bollywood to coach Chillar Party (2011). He then directed Bhootnath’s hit sequel, Bhootnath Returns (2014). Two years after the last movie, Nitesh brought the biopic drama Dangal. Aamir Khan-Starer was released in 2016 and has become a global phenomenon. According to reports, the Dangal Worldwide collection has more than Rs 20 crore. Dangal is the only Indian film over Rs 20,000 crore, which makes him the largest director in Bollywood.

Nitesh Tiwari’s upcoming 8 billion rupees Magnum Opus

Currently, Nitesh Tiwari is working on the film adaptation of Indian epic Ramayana. Movie stars Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Yash and Sunny Deol play key roles. The epic is divided into two parts and the reported budget is Rs 8 billion. The first part has been completed and post-production is in progress. Ramayana Part I is scheduled for Diwali 2026.
