The annual Carnatic Music Competition for the Year of Rasika Ranjana Sabha’s Vocal, Violin, Veena, Mridangam and Quiz will be held in June.
According to the official press release, these competitions will be held under the secondary, Juniorm and advanced categories. Current music and upcoming professionals are eligible to apply starting in April. In the Junior Vocal category, 12 competitions held by 12 composers will be held. In addition to the first, second and third prizes, each match will receive the 2025 LV commemorative medal.
A total of 36 competitions were held for voice contestants in the advanced category. The “Sangeetha Sri” award will be awarded to those who participate in 24 matches and quizzes and will be ranked first overall.
Participants in other Sstates except Puducherry will provide accommodation during the competition.
Applications can be obtained by emailing rrrsabha@gmail.com. May 23 is the last date for submitting the full form. The press release says candidates who pay late fees can send applications by May 30.
