State Cancer Institute opened in Kurnur

Health Minister Satya Kumar Yadav was unveiled at the State Cancer Institute at Kurnool, the government general hospital here on April 19 (April 19).
The minister, along with the Minister of Industry and Commerce, also unveiled the hospital’s CT Simulator, CT simulator, surgical theater complex and the Medical Oncology School District. Mr Satya Kumar said the hospital would be the “Sanjeevani” (lifeline) for cancer patients. He said the center approved hospitals to facilitate the convenience of cancer patients in the Rayalaseema area, so people do not have to go to remote treatment sites for treatment.
He said the 200-bed fund of Rs 20 billion was laid in 2019, with plans to cost Rs 12 billion at the national centre cooperation, but the YSRCP government failed to build it within its five-year term. He said: “The NDA government has built the hospital using modern facilities. We have also strengthened the wings of the hospital’s surgical, medical, radiology and oncology.””
Later, Satya Kumar and Mr. Bharath held a meeting with senior doctors from the Government General Hospital. Doctors told the minister that they are ensuring that staff austerity does not affect patients’ health care. Doctors told the minister that they have even started a heart transplant in the hospital and have even prepared plans to provide drinking water for patients and their attendants.
Officials say the critical care neighborhoods that are about to be in the construction phase will soon play a role. They also said Adoni’s medical school will also play a role from next year.
