The Summer School Boot Camp Program is helping several students in remote tribal areas of the Parvatipuram-Manyam district acquire knowledge and writing skills, thanks to the actions of the two non-governmental organizations – Rural Technology and Services (ARTS) and AIDE ET ACTION.

Art Director Nuka Sanyasi Rao and his team are organizing summer camps in Kutam and other remote Jiyyammavalasa Mandals villages as students are observing that due to geographical barriers are lagging behind in the study. Camps that begin the first week of May will last until June in the second week of the selected village.

According to the arts press release, students in Kutam Village were forced to travel about 6 kilometers to their school in Goli Village. They were unable to complete their homework and were unable to quickly understand the course due to the lack of time and exhaustion after walking 12 kilometers a day. After hearing the grievances of parents, Parvatipuram-Manyam collector A.Shyam Kumar and other officials supported the Arts and Aide ET operation to hold summer camps in Kutam and other villages. Mr Sanyasi Rao said a group of teachers will enable children to understand the lessons and make them read and write confidently. He added: “In addition to learning, we can also get them to participate in games and sports such as archery and volleyball. Archery will increase your focus and keep them focused on learning.”
