Sunita Williams returns to Earth and stays in space for 9 months

The capsule was cancelled from the space station on Tuesday and splashed off the Florida coast after a clock dropped in space Wednesday morning for 286 days. This is Williams’ third space flight, where she has accumulated 608 days.
On September 19, 1965, a former U.S. Navy captain, 59, Williams, 59, was born on September 19, 1965 in Euclid, Ohio, a Gujarat father, Deepak Pandya, from Jhulasan in the Mehsana region and Slovenian mother Ursuline Bonnie Pandya, who was born on September 19, 1965 in Euclid, Ohio.
Williams is proud of her multicultural roots, is her legacy symbolizing space? Included are Samosas, Slovenian Flag and Ganesha Idol in previous missions.
During his third mission to the International Space Station with the 286-day Butch Wilmore last June, Williams also recorded most of the time a woman spent walking in space by setting a historical record.
Williams now has a 62-hour and 9-minute drive, surpassing former astronaut Peggy Whitson’s 60-hour and 21-minute record, a feat Williams achieved on January 30.
Williams has been talented in science since childhood, but her dream is to become a veterinary doctor. Her brother Jay enrolled in the Academy visited the Academy and she attracted her to become a Naval Officer.
At that time, Tom Cruise-Cruise champion gunners were waving, Williams had the chance to join the Naval Aviation Training Command, both ready to fly a fighter but had to choose a helicopter.
Designated as a Navy pilot in 1989, she served in Helicopter Combat Support Squadron 8 in Norfolk, Virginia, and deployed overseas to the Mediterranean, Red Sea and Persian Gulf to support the Desert Shield and provide comfort.
Williams plays a key role in transport forces and humanitarian assistance, as well as her leadership and ability to perform in extreme conditions, in future astronauts.
Williams was selected as an astronaut by NASA in 1998 and she received training at the Johnson Space Center. She also worked with the Russian Space Agency in Moscow in Russia’s contribution to the International Space Station.
She started her first mission on December 9, 2006 on the shuttle discovery, joining ISS Expeditions 14 and 15, playing 195 days in orbit.
Williams returned to the space station on July 17, 2012 on board a Russian spacecraft, stayed for four months before returning to Earth on November 19.
On April 16, 2007, she became the first person to run a marathon in space, completing the Boston Marathon on a treadmill at the space station in 4 hours and 24 minutes.
During her second space flight in 2012, she became the only woman to lead the International Space Station. She oversees the operation of the station, completes triathlon on track, and captures images of a phenomenon that appears to have “touched” the sun during a space walk.
Williams visited India at least three times, including space missions in 2007 and 2013, and received the honors of Padma Bhushan in 2008.
Earlier this month, Prime Minister Narendra Modi wrote to Williams, calling her one of India’s outstanding daughters and invited her to visit the country.
Sunita is married to federal policeman Michael J. Williams, an avid runner, swimmer and cyclist.
