A shocking video of a 10-year-old child with autism in a special educator who was physically abused by a private school in Noida District 55 has surfaced on social media. The incident was reportedly reportedly occurred on Wednesday, but was revealed when the child’s parents saw the video in the school WhatsApp group.

Since July 2024, the child who needs special care and understanding has been studying at Green Ribbon International School. His mother, Rimjhim Goyel, expressed deep concern about the treatment her son received at the hands of educator Anil Kumar.

“My son needs extra care, empathy and a sensitive approach. But on Wednesday, he was treated inhumanely at school. Special educator Anil Kumar was violently versus my kids. It was totally unacceptable,” Goyel said.

The video was widely circulated online and clearly demonstrated the physical abuse of children by teachers. Goyel stressed that special children require patience and understanding, but despite his understanding challenges, her son suffered violence.

After the incident, parents reached out to help on Saturday morning to demand action against educators. The school took quick action by suspending Anil Kumar and handing him over to the police.

“The school is working fully with the authorities and will take strict action against teachers,” said Pankaj Sharma, principal of Green Ribbon International School.

The case also attracted the attention of the education department. “A notice will be issued to the school and a thorough investigation will be conducted,” said Rahul Panwar, an official of the district’s basic education department.

Officials also plan to check whether Anil Kumar has special educator certification from the Mandatory Rehabilitation Commission of India (RCI). “We will check his qualifications based on our findings and take the necessary actions based on our findings,” said Divyangjan, regional official at Gautam Budh Nagar.

Meanwhile, SHO Amit Kumar of the District 58 Police Department confirmed that the FIR has been registered based on the complaint filed by the child’s mother. “The defendant is in police custody and further investigation is underway,” he said.

The incident has aroused indignation from parents and the public and raised concerns about the safety of special children in educational institutions. Authorities have ensured that strict action will be taken to ensure justice for children.
