TGIC works with 18 universities across the state to expand the scope of innovation and decentralized programs

Hyderabad: TGIC launched its host institution program and signed with 18 universities across the state, and expanded its innovation and decentralization program across the state on Wednesday. Through these hosting agencies, TGIC has consolidated its role as a key driver of TGIC’s grassroots initiatives. The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOUS) marks an important milestone in TGIC’s mission to promote its program on the ground and foster a thriving innovation ecosystem across the state.

T-Hub’s MOU exchange program, which was attended by representatives from 18 universities across the state, was successful. The TGIC Host Agency Program will create innovative and entrepreneurial cells within each selected college, thereby promoting a vibrant hub for students and local entrepreneurship. This strategic plan ensures that TGIC plans and programs effectively achieve impacts in each region, thus maximizing their impact.

“The TGIC Host Agency Initiative will be a huge success,” said Meraj Faheem, interim CEO of TGIC. “The establishment of these landlord agencies marks a critical step in building a sustainable ecosystem where innovation thrives at all levels, ensuring our plans are accessible and impactful throughout Telangana.”

The signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding formally designated the roles of 18 universities as designated TGIC hosting agencies. These agencies will receive full support from TGIC, including help as local entrepreneurs. In return, they will become the primary contact point for their regional TGIC programs, organizing awareness conferences, fostering industry engagement, and empowering students and local innovators.
