The court meeting will be held next hearing on May 7

Bangalore:The District Court here allows Mysuru Wing’s Lokayukta to investigate the so-called irregularities in the Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) and submit its concluding report by May 7.

After investigating the case, Lokayukta gave Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and his family clean regret in its “Final B” report, citing a lack of evidence to build political influence in the plot distribution. The 82nd additional city civil and conference judges have been before the decision to accept or reject the report.

The petitioner of the case, Snehamayi Krishna, social activist, put the Karnataka High Court against the Lokayukta report and sought an investigation under the Criminal Procedure Code. The court heard the case, and the law enforcement bureau (ED) of the case was a victim. Detective Ed Suluths investigated the division of Muda.

Lokayukta found no evidence against Siddaramaiah, who was the first defendant, his wife BM Parvathi and his brother-in-law Mallikarjun Swamy in the so-called plot distribution violation. On February 19, the notice had objected to petitioner Snehamayi Krishna.

Previously, Lokayukta investigated the allegations in the “Muda” scam, according to a high court order. Muda officials allocated 14 plots to Parvathi in lieu of her loss of 3.16 acres in Kesare, Mysuru Taluk. These plots were in a luxurious layout, leading to suspicion that Siddaramaiah might have exercised his political influence in the distribution.
