The LDF government’s 4th anniversary celebration is full of corruption, Chennithala says

Senior Congress leader Ramesh Chennithala accused of corruption on Tuesday (April 29, 2025) of the fourth anniversary celebration of the Left Democratic Front (LDF) administration.
He said here: “The squander of Rs 10 billion of the celebration is being separated from those near the government. The government has no money to relieve the burden on ordinary people, but has spent tens of millions on its fourth anniversary celebration.”
Mr Chennithala criticized the government for not inviting opposition VD Satheesan leaders to debug the port in Vije County. “If the government claims not to be invited as part of the celebration, how did they invite the heads of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Bharatiya Janata’s party to participate.
He claimed that the Vizhinjam project was initiated by the UDF government led by then-Chief Minister Oommen Chandy. “Pinarayi Vijayan was against the project at the time,” he said.
