A man was allegedly arrested by Kalamas police after he was “marriage scam” by proposing a wedding proposal as an IPS official.
The arrested was Karthik Venugopal, aka Vipin Karthik of Malappuram. He was arrested in the case registered by the Kadugodi police in Bangalore. Kalamas police handed him over to the Bangalore police.
He has about 13 cases in Kerala and Bengaluru.
