A three-year-old girl was reportedly missing from Thiruvankulam on Monday night.
Police launched a hunt after the child’s father filed a complaint at Princess Station. Her mother reportedly picked her up from Anganwadi. However, they did not return to Mattakuzhi’s father’s home.
Thiruvaniyoor Panchayat President Cr Prakashan said the woman told Mattakuzhi Ward member Beana Jose that they boarded the bus to Alva on their way to their home in Kuta Masar County. She reportedly told members that the child was missing in Aluva, despite differences in her statement.
Aluva, a special branch, said all police departments issued alarms to track children. No clues were received when submitting this report. Police are seeking more details about the incident from the mother of the child.
