TM Anbarasan says Guindy, Ambattur, Madurai and Ranipet get co-working space

Tamil Nadu Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Scale Industries and Tamil Nadu Urban Habitation Development Board TM Anbarasan on Wednesday said that State government would improve infrastructure and public needs of naturally formed industrial clusters at a cost of ₹20 crore and ₹23.33 crore will be spent to set up co-working spaces in Guindy, Ambattur, Madurai and Ranipet. These will have the ability to hold 25 to 225 office spaces, which will help join during the state legislature’s grant meeting request.

Mr Ambarasan said the spaces that work together will provide technical facilities, restaurants and conference halls. In addition, he said the government will work to organize special camps in areas where the intended tribes live in order to provide them with loans to reach Rs 100 crore to help them become entrepreneurs. He also said a silver-based art factory will be established in Perambur for a cost of Rs 5 crore.

He added that village-based handicraft communities and small-scale industries will provide infrastructure to protect their raw materials at a cost of Rs 18.18 crore. A capital fund of Rs 150 crore will also be established to provide Rs 2 million to members of Inulul Community under 60 years old and after death due to accidents or snake bites, they are part of the shared performance of the society by Irular Snake Catchers.

The ADI DRAVIDARS/Programmed Tribe will hold two special sellers development activities, with a total of 6 such activities at the expense of Rs. This year it is 4 million to help oil, fuel, food processing, electrical and electronics and tannery-related industries.
