TTD head accused of major scams in SV Goshala under YSRC regime

nellore: TTD Chairman Br Naidu claimed a massive scam occurred in SV Goshala in the last government, claiming that even cattle feed was not spared. He said those with vested interests are now trying to politicize the issue to shift their attention to past misconduct.

The chairman and TTD board members, Koti Sridhar, secretary general of All India Cattle Conservation Organization, and media staff inspected SV Goshala on Saturday. He reviewed facilities such as feed supply, drinking water, medical and sanitation. He expressed satisfaction with the current management, saying there has been no corruption in the ten months since the coalition government came to power.

Naidu cites 2023-24 records and Koti Sridhar’s observations to highlight the irregular scale during the last institutional period. He said Dr. Harinath Reddy, then director of Gaosara, acted dictatorly, forbidden access to others and regarded the facility as his personal property.

He added that TTD may seek ACB detectors if needed. Board member G. Bhanu Prakash Reddy said police schemes had been proposed against former TTD chairman B. Karunakar Reddy, asking him to spread false claims about the death of a cattle and confirm that there is evidence to support the allegations.

Koti Sridhar claims medical and feed procurement, violations of buying cattle from other states, and lack of records of post-birth tracking of cattle.

During the inspection, board members Shantha Ram and Naresh Kumar were also present.
