Underground drainage plan of Rs 12.8 billion begins in Madhira town

Deputy Chief Minister Malu Bhatti Vikramarka worked on the Rs 12.8 crore underground drainage plan in Madhira town, where Bhoomi Puja was conducted on Sunday.

Official sources said the plan was taken with the assistance of Telangana Urban Finance and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (TUFIDC).

It will have a network of sewer pipes that are about 99 km in length and four sewage treatment plants (STPs) (STPs) connect about 6,638 houses in Madhira municipal restrictions. Sources added that it will help improve sewage management and sanitation standards, thereby protecting public health and making Madhira a model city.

Deputy CM directed officials to ensure strict compliance with prescribed quality standards with time combined work.

Wyra Mla M. Ramdas Nayak, Khammam Rdo Narasimha Rao and Madhira Municipal Commissioner Sampath were present.
