Vellore Corporation passes resolution to provide pie to people living on Poromboke Land

Vellore Corporation passed a special resolution on Thursday that would allow tax officials to issue pies for people living on Poromboke Land, which occupies a radius of citizens’ groups.

Mayor Sujatha Anandakumar, who chaired the emergency meeting, said the resolution would help identify company-wide landless families to obtain land deeds for residential purposes. Vellore Corporation Commissioner P. Janaki Raveendran told P. Janaki Raveendran that “the resolution will enable income officials to issue Patas for people in their respective Taluks.” Hindus.

According to the Cabinet’s decision, a national and regional committee should be established to complete the task of providing Patas to these families within six months. They have lived in Poromboke Land for more than five years. By the norm, such a landless family should not own any property in its name. Citizen officials said the resolution would help speed up the process of issuing Pata soon.
