APPCB spreads awareness about waste recycling of batteries

As part of the Swachh Andhra-Swarna Andhra Plan, the Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Committee (APPCB) organized a “Electronic Waste (Management) Rules, 2022, 2022 Battery Waste Management Rules, Amara Raja Energy and Mobility Limited, Karakambadi, Amara Raja Energy and Mobility Limited, Karakambadi.

The program aims to promote responsible disposal and recycling of electronic and battery waste that is aligned with environmental sustainability goals. Narapureddy Maurya, a commissioner of Tirupati Municipal Corporation (TMC), launched the event in the presence of SSS Murali, SE and EE Rajashekar of APPCB.

Narasimhulu Naidu, COO of Amara Raja Energy and Mobility Limited, talked about best practices and sustainability plans for health, safety and the environment, including through 2050 to 2050.
