Will stay in NDA, no longer a turn: Bihar CM Nitish Kumar

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, who served for his fifth consecutive term on Sunday, claimed he would “stay in the NDA” and attributed him to the BJP's presence. JD (U) Supreme Kumar reiterated this position while tens of thousands of young athletes from all over the country were attending the inauguration ceremony at Khelo India Youth Games. CM, who has changed the partner many times over the past decade, said: “I will stay here forever. My party made me go here earlier. But this won't happen again. It won't happen again.”
It is worth noting that Kumar has been an ally of the BJP since the mid-1990s, but after he was discontent with his then-Gujarat peer Narendra Modi, he split his way in 2013, gaining national prominence.
A year later, Kumar successfully maintained his position despite his party being stripped of Lok Sabha polls and Modi became prime minister, thanks to a brief alliance with RJD President Arch Rival Rival Lalu Prasad, who abandoned him in 2017 and returned to the NDA.

The alliance lasted until 2022, when Kumar joined hands with RJD-led Mahagathbandhan to vow to defeat the BJP, accusing former Ally of trying to split the JD (U).
But before last year's Lok Sabha poll, Septuagenarian returned to the NDA, abandoning the Indian group he brought together by bringing parties against the BJP.
