WS Habib takes over as President of Credai TN

The Federation of Real Estate Developers Association of India (Credai) Tamil Nadu, which represents the top institution of private real estate developers across the state, formally induces its new leadership team for the 2025-2027 term, WS Habib, WS Habib, Chairman and Chairman of RWD and Chairman of RWD, serves as Chairman.
Mr. Habib said: “Real estate is not just a vertical industry; it is the basis of employment, infrastructure, economic resilience. Our industry has made a significant contribution to the GSDP in Tamil Nadu, and its potential will only double with the intensity of urbanization in the coming decades.
He stressed the need to develop a master plan for the main towns in Tamil Nadu because “this will help us reach our $1 trillion economy target”.
Mr Habib added: “Credai Tamil Nadu is ready to work hand in hand with the government to ensure timely implementation, policy coherence and simplified approval.”
B. Ganesan, director of the Town and National Planning Bureau, said the overall plans for Coimbatore and Madurai will be launched soon. He also told the Credai team that their views will be considered.
He said the government will soon propose an exclusive master plan for a hill station.
